AAG Members Wed Nights Open Studio Every Wednesday evening the members of the Allentown Art Guild are welcome to join in at our Open Studio Night held from 7-10pm. Place -The Roosevelt Public School 2a School Ln, Roosevelt, NJ 08555 website: http://www.rps1.org/ Directions: ( Rte 539) towards Hightstown until you get to Windsor Rd and make a right turn(white church on corner on left side). Take that until you reach the next stop sign, make a sharp right turn which is Rte 571 which goes into Roosevelt. Make a right turn on to Pine Dr (opposite the Borough Hall and firestation/first aid building), and then first left onto School La. Go straight and park near the school. Entrance is all the way towards the right side of building. Materials are limited to water-based paints AAG Members Only.

Main St. Allentown, NJ Guest Speaker: TAWA President/Artist Robert Girandola will be speaking about his work and life. Robert grew up in Allentown and now works as a Color Scientist for Estée Lauder in Bristol, Pa as well as manages his sucessful art career. He works in many mediums including paint, charcoal, sculpture, bronze and more. may 2009 EN PLEIN AIR OUTING!!! SUNDAY May 17th 2-5pm at Laurita Winery 35 Archertown Rd, New Egypt, NJ 08533 Join us at Laurita Winery in New Egypt for an afternoon of En Plein Air Art! Bring your supplies and creativity! Members shall meet upstairs on the 2nd Floor at 2pm for a brief business discussion about our upcoming group show. Rain or Shine! Remember dues are due!	AAG Member, Mary Barrett, works on a sketch at a Plein Air day.
june 2009 Friday June 19th 7-9pm Location to be announced Due to our record rainfall this month, my backyard is one big Mud-Pit and there is more rainfall in the forecast for this friday as well...so we are canceling Raku night at my place and having a meeting at the barn instead. There is some news to go over, we will have a show and tell, Ellen has some Altered Books information she would like to present, and if time permits, we will discuss the ins and outs of keeping an internet blog. Hope to see you there! RAKU AT NIGHT! Join us as AAG Member Ericka O'Rourke fires up her handmade outdoor Raku kiln and demonstrates the exciting process of Raku Pottery!
