Artist's
Statement There is a meditative quality to working with pen and ink; thoughtless chatter disappears, replaced by a flowing simplicity of form. While all media under the direction of an artist can have a poetic nature, pen and ink has especially resonated with me since my high school days. I have a BA in Art Education from Georgian Court College and a MA in Teaching from Rowan University. I did not choose art as my career, but instead opted to teach High School Special Education. I have been teaching for twenty years and I am currently employed at Allentown High School. However, I continue to draw in pen and ink and am now exploring digital photography.
