Artist’s Statement
I work in watercolor because it has a wonderful transparent quality and I love its fluidity. Painting fills me with joy and there is time to reflect on things. My subjects vary from still life to landscapes to modern expressionism. Watercolor is a difficult medium and the paint sometimes will dictate to the painter what it will and won’t do. One must truly learn to go with the flow and enjoy the experience.
