About
the Artist
When
I was forty years old, I began to learn to paint and draw at the
Princeton Art Association. What started as a hobby became a passion.
I enjoy working in oils best although I have tried other mediums.
My first career was nursing, followed by marriage and raising
four children. Because Housewives never retire, I rise early to
paint before the day summons me with all its distractions. Like
many artists, I paint in my head, constantly looking and trying
"to see."
My work may be seen at the following galleries:
The Coryell Gallery at the Porkyard, Lambertville
The Farnsworth Gallery, Bordentown, NJ
Lawrenceville Art & Frame Gallery
