About
the Artist
In 1976, after studying photography at the School of Visual Arts
and the New School of Social Research in New York, Jeff
Martin opened his first commercial photography studio in
Red Bank, NJ. In 1997 he relocated to Allentown and renovated a
100-year-old barn to serve as his studio.
Jeff’s commercial work is seen both locally and internationally
in the form of annual reports, ads, and package designs. Location
photography has taken Jeff all over the US and Europe — from
vineyards in France to the Ironman Competition in Hawaii.
His passion, photojournalism, has resulted in black and white series
on such topics as rural Appalachia and the Million Man March. He
has exhibited in eighteen states and his work is also included in
the Permanent Collection at the School of Visual Arts.
