Statement
The depiction of light is the primary goal in my paintings or drawings.
I use color and line to reach this goal. Most of my paintings are
landscapes or interiors. My drawings range from realistic to surrealistic
montages of images.
About the Artist
Lucretia Ellen McGuff-Silverman grew up around San Antonio,
Texas. She has an MFA from American University in Oil painting. She
has lived in New Jersey with her husband and two sons for sixteen
years. When she is not teaching art she is painting, drawing, quilting
or enjoying some other art form.
